Located in a retail mall in Pudong Shanghai, H。O。P is a conceptual bar design for a private client. As the name suggests, the concept begins with the form of the beer hop bracts that inform several key design components. The bar counter area is developed as a trapezium shaped backlit display unit which progress up and forward to the top and eventually turns into a series of ceiling objects. These will then become several drop down light and decorative crystalline elements.
